Terms
These are the terms you agree to when you buy something from us. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If a sentence here is unclear, write to us and we will say what we meant.
Last updated 14 September 2026. "We" is Polygonjs Ltd, registered in England and Wales no. 09878597, 6 Burleigh View, GL6 8DD Bussage, United Kingdom. Write to gui@polygonjs.com about anything on this page. Our privacy policy says what we do with your data.
What we sell
Two things, sold separately. A Polygon licence is a one-time purchase of the app you install, with twelve months of updates. Polygon Web is a subscription to the paid features of the editor on polygonjs.com. Buying one does not give you the other, and a Polygon Web subscription never turns into a licence for the desktop app.
The subscription
Polygon Web is sold by the month or by the year, and you pick which at checkout. The term starts when the first payment clears and runs to the end of the period you paid for. It then renews on its own, for another period of the same length, at the price published on the pricing page at that moment. We will tell you by email before a price you are already paying goes up.
A subscription covers one person. You may not share the account, and there are no team seats yet.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, from the account page, without asking us and without giving a reason. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not stop the period you are in: you keep the paid features until the last day you have paid for, and then the account goes back to the free web editor.
We do not refund a period you have started. If you cancel on the second day of a month you have paid for, you keep the rest of that month rather than getting most of it back. This does not take away a right you have by law, and consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have a fourteen-day right to withdraw: if you want to use it, write to us and we will refund you. Asking us to start the service immediately, which is what pressing Subscribe does, means that right ends once the period is over.
Payment that does not go through
If a renewal is declined, nothing stops straight away. Stripe retries over the following days and we email you so you can put a new card on the account. If every retry fails, the subscription ends and the paid features switch off. You can start again whenever you like.
Included credits
Some features cost us money every time they run, so the plan includes a number of credits each calendar month and those features spend them. The number and what each feature costs are on the pricing page and on your account page. Credits reset on the first of every month and do not roll over. They have no cash value, we do not refund unused ones, and when they run out the feature says so and stops until the month turns. A yearly subscription gets the same monthly allowance, once per month, not a year of credits up front.
Fair use
Use the service the way a person uses it. Do not resell access, do not run it through a script or a bot, do not share one account between several people, and do not try to get around the credit allowance or the limits on what your plan includes. Do not use the AI agent or the generative nodes to make things that are illegal, that target a real person, or that we would be ashamed to have hosted. If something you do puts the service at risk for everybody else, we will write to you first and only suspend the account if that does not settle it, unless the problem is serious enough that waiting would be worse.
What stays yours
Your scenes are yours, and so is everything you export from them: a 3D model, an exported web app, a generated mesh. They stay yours after you cancel, and you may use them commercially. Ending a subscription does not reach back into files you have already downloaded. Your saved scenes stay on the site and stay editable, because saving a scene is free and always has been.
Polygon itself stays ours. You are buying the right to use it, not the software.
Changes to the service
Polygon changes constantly, which is the point of it. Features get added, and now and then one gets replaced or removed. If we take away something a plan you are paying for was sold on, we will tell you by email before it happens, and you can cancel and be refunded for the rest of the period if that is the reason you leave. We may change these terms too. The date at the top says when they last changed, and a change that affects what you are paying for reaches you by email rather than quietly appearing here.
What we promise, and what we do not
We will run the service with reasonable care and we will fix things that break. We do not promise it will never be down, that a generated model will be any good, or that the agent will be right. Keep your own copies of work you care about. Nothing here limits what the law does not let us limit, including liability for death, personal injury or fraud. Beyond that, what we owe you if something goes wrong is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before it did.
Which law
English law governs these terms and the courts of England and Wales hear disputes about them. If you are a consumer somewhere else, this does not take away the protection your own country's law gives you or the right to bring a case at home.
