geo/VoxelSphere

Creates a sphere made of voxels.

Voxel

Fills a grid of voxels with a sphere. A voxel is filled when its centre is inside the sphere, so the outline steps the way a sphere drawn on a grid does, and a finer voxel size makes it rounder.

The sphere comes out white. To colour it, or make it rough, metallic or glowing, put a geo/MaterialAttributes after it: on a voxel object, OBJECT mode sets the whole object's material.

`surface offset` grows or shrinks the sphere by a distance before it is filled, which is the same as changing the radius.

Parameters

Name Type What it does
voxelSize Float Edge of one voxel, in world units. This is the resolution: a finer voxel makes a rounder sphere.
radius Float Radius of the sphere, in world units.
center Vector3 Centre of the sphere.
surfaceOffset Float Grow or shrink the sphere by this distance before it is filled, in world units. Negative erodes, positive dilates.
