Draws the turns geo/PrintOrient may choose from as arrows, one object each, so you can keep the ones you allow.
Each arrow is a way to print the part: the side of the part it points to is the side that goes down on the bed. By default there are 26, the same turns geo/PrintOrient tries: toward the 6 faces, the 12 edges and the 8 corners of a box around the part. Set set to AXES for the 6 faces only.
Each arrow is its own object, named after its direction: downDirection_minusY points down, downDirection_plusX to the right, downDirection_minusXplusY between the two. Keep the turns you allow with geo/Delete on OBJECT, by name or with a bounding box around the arrow tips, and connect what is left to the second input of geo/PrintOrient with candidates set to INPUT. It then only chooses among those.
Connect the part to the input and the arrows start at the middle of its box and reach past it. Without an input they start at the origin and are 1 long.
The arrows are ordinary geometry. Move or turn them and geo/PrintOrient follows: it reads each arrow's direction, N on its points, turned the way the object is turned. So if you turn the part before geo/PrintOrient, turn the arrows the same way and they still point at the same sides.
