geo/PrintProperties

Sets the print settings a slicer should use for each object, such as its layer height.

Attributes

Some parts print better with thinner layers than the rest of the plate: a detailed figure next to a plain bracket. This node writes the layer height you want on each object, and geo/ThreeMFExporter passes it to the slicer as that object's own setting. Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer and PrusaSlicer all read it.

Set group to change only some objects. Turn tlayerHeight off to leave a layer height set upstream as it is.

It is a request, not a promise: the slicer can still change it, and your printer profile decides what heights it allows. The first layer height is not written, because a slicer only reads it as a setting for the whole print, which would replace your printer profile. Check the heights in the slicer before you print.

Nothing changes shape. The value is the object attribute LAYER_HEIGHT, in millimetres.

Parameters

Name Type What it does
group String The object group to change. Empty changes every object.
tlayerHeight Bool Set the layer height. Off, a layer height set upstream is left as it is.
layerHeight Float The height of each printed layer, in millimetres. Thinner layers show less of the steps on curved and sloped faces, but take longer to print.
