geo/SDFIFS2D
Creates a Koch snowflake or a Sierpinski triangle as a 2D SDF in the XY plane.
Sdf Primitives
Creates a self-similar 2D shape as an SDF field in the XY plane: the Koch snowflake, a triangle whose sides grow ever smaller bumps, or the Sierpinski triangle, a triangle with ever smaller triangles cut out of it. Iterations sets how many levels of detail are made. Compose it with other 2D SDF objects through geo/SDFBoolean, then turn it into a 3D field with geo/SDFExtrude or geo/SDFRevolve, or into real geometry with geo/SDFTriangulate. Dragging the params never recompiles the preview shader.
Parameters
| Name | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| t | Vector2 | Center of the shape, in plane coordinates (x is world X, y is world Y). |
| size | Float | Radius of the circle the shape fits inside, which is the distance from the center to each corner. |
| shape | UInt8 KOCH_SNOWFLAKE · SIERPINSKI_TRIANGLE | The shape to draw: the Koch snowflake, or the Sierpinski triangle. |
| iterations | UInt8 | How many levels of detail are made. 0 is a plain triangle; each level adds bumps a third the size to the snowflake, or cuts holes half the size out of the Sierpinski triangle. |
